| About Network digital recorders: These machines have advantages that are somewhat different from the typical DVRs that we sell at Pro Security Warehouse. The WJ-ND300A and WJ-ND200 series NVRs only accept video from network type cameras as opposed to traditional type video signal cameras. In fact, your network cameras can be located all over the world and if connected to a WAN (or the internet,) the images can be recorded, viewed, and managed using these units. If you have a need to record from regular CCTV cameras as well as view live and recorded video over a network connection (or the internet), you may be better off with a DVR (although you can migrate from one system to another with our help). Panasonic introduces the new WJ-ND300A Network Disk Recorder with support for up to 32 Ethernet-linked network cameras. This multifunction disk recorder offers high speed throughout, combining high image quality with a high frame rate. Plus, it gives you the full, IP-addressing capabilities required to maximize both flexibility and scalability. The possibilities are endless. From systems that exploit existing networks to high-performance systems using dedicated networks, even hybrid systems using analog cameras, the WJ-ND300A/1000T meets security needs across a wide range of applications. Flexibility: Use of a LAN allows cameras to be placed wherever you like. It also permits live monitoring, search, playback and recording from a personal computer. Cost Efficiency: Because the WJ-ND300A utilized an existing network infrastructure, it sharply reduces costs in both time and money compared to systems that require dedicated cabling. The use of ordinary PCs eliminates the need for dedicated monitors. Plus, with hard disk storage, the burden of replacing video tapes or other consumables is also much lighter. Scalability: Use of an IP Network also reduces the number of steps required to add cameras and connect them to a hub. With our Optional WV-ASM100 Management PC Software, systems can incorporate up to 100 WJ-ND300A Network Disk Recorders and up to 3,200 cameras. The economically priced Panasonic WJ-NV200 i-PRO SmartHD Network Disk Recorder boasts embedded real time face matching technology eliminating the use and expense of external software. It uses H.264 (High Profile), MPEG-4 and JPEG formats and can simultaneously record and display live images of up to 16 cameras. The WJ-NV200 network disk recorder supports full high definition (HD) output to display recorded and live images in High Definition. The Real Time Face Matching function matches registers face images with a face displayed on a live camera feed (one channel). Once the face is detected and matched, an alarm notification can be sent by e-mail, Panasonic system alarm, terminal output, buzzer or indicator. Other features include the quick and easy setup wizzard, various alarm functions, PTZ camera control, audio recording, and future ONVIF support.
