Panasonic introduces the WJ-HD220 which replaces the highly acclaimed WJ-HD200 digital video recorder with more features and a lower price. Up to 8 (eight) cameras can be connected to the WJ-HD220/160 or the WJ-HD220/320 with the ability for spot, multi-screen and individual camera viewing. A 4-screen or 8-screen display mode is possible thanks to a built-in frame switcher. The WJ-HD220 features a triplex monitoring function that allows for the monitoring, recording, and reproduction of recorded pictures at the same time. The pre-recording function initiates recording of up to five seconds before the sensor is triggered. Equipped with a 10/100 Base-T network interface, the unit allows for remote monitoring and operation by using a personal computer through a LAN, WAN, or Internet connection.
