DSP image enhancement features such as backlight compensation (BLC), ensure optimum contrast and a clear picture for most indoor scenes. They also offer an electronic shutter and have a minimum scene illumination rating of 4.5 lx. This camera is available with either a 2.1mm, 3mm or 6mm integrated fixed iris lens and accepts a wide range of voltages from 12 to 28 VAC or VDC. We were truly amazed when we tested this new mini dome camera. We certainly didn't expect much for the low cost. What we saw was a clean clear picture at 420 lines of resolution. This color camera is equipped with a Sharp™ 1/4" CCD sensor with a low light scene illumination of .3 lux. The 3.6mm lens produces a 60 degree field of view. 12VDC power required - 80 mA. The 9612B is recommended for most indoor applications with steady lighting conditions. Given the surprising performance, this camera is a steal at this price.
