The 2000E, formerly the 212E, is designed for basic access control or code control for up to four individual devices (model dependent). The I.E.I. 2000E keypad is the perfect choice for controlling electric or magnetic locks, security systems, elevator control, gate controls, or other types of equipment requiring on/off or momentary control inputs. Input trigger for Request to Exit or other open circuit contact is standard. All outputs are programmable for latched or timed operation. 120 users can be programmed into each 2000E keypad. Other features include single gang design, backlit hardened keys for easy night viewing, sounder, weather resistant construction, UL 294 access control listed, five year warranty, 1 SPDT 2 amp relay. 4.5” x 2.75” x 0.60”. 10-30 VDC; 12-34 VAC – auto adjusting (power supply not included). This keypad is more stylish for outdoor applications where aesthetics are a concern. The 2000E replaces the 212E. |

The Altronix RB5 is strongly recommended for use will all keypads. Electric locks, magnetic locks, gate openers and garage openers all create a small surge when they open. This surge is backfed to the contacts inside the keypad and can cause them to fail prematurely. This isolation relay provides a heavy duty set of contacts that protect the keypad's internal components and extend the life of the keypad. Requires 12VDC to operate and can be powered by the same power supply as the keypad provided the amperage is sufficient. Small enough to fit inside of a deep single gang electrical box or mount as needed with the adhesive pads included. The RB5 has 5A DPDT contacts. Coil draws 120mA. 12 or 6VDC selectable. | ||
