CAMERAS:
This next
generation camera was tested against dozens of other infrared day/night
cameras in this class and emerged as the clear winner.
Why? First and most important, the CMR603H has IR color
corrected optics. This special glass compensates for the type of
light that this camera uses at night. It was surprising to find out that
90% of all infrared cameras on the market today DON'T have optics optimized
for Infrared light. As a result, this camera had a sharper image wether
you are looking at an object 10 feet away, or 100 feet in the distance.
Second, the price for this high resolution camera is in the same range
as other lower resolution 420 TVL cameras. In fact, because of the optics,
this camera out performed most of the 540 TVL higher
cost cameras that we tested. Standard features include a Sony™
Super HAD CCD sensor, thru-lens design (eliminates the "white out"
fogged night pictures of other cameras), and a medium wide 3.6mm lens.
The 30 IR LEDS are photocell controlled for longer life and yield an effective
range of over 50 feet. We tested this camera in 6 different real life
applications and it yielded the best of all results to date exceeding
