THE
CAMERAS:

a super high resolution 560 TVL Sony™
imager, this new camera was tested against a dozen of other infrared day/night
cameras in our recent camera shootout and emerged
as the clear winner. Don't buy a camera with 420 lines of resolution,
480 lines or even 520 lines! This camera has 560 lines which yields a
sharper picture. In addition, the IR5624 has IR
corrected optics. This special glass coating compensates for the
type of light that this camera uses at night. As a result, the image produced
retains more of its sharpness in infrared mode where other cameras without
this coating will have a more fuzzy picture. Standard features include
a Sony™ Super HAD CCD sensor, thru-lens design (eliminates the "white
out" fogged night pictures of other cameras), and a medium wide 3.6mm
lens. The 24 IR LEDS are photocell controlled for longer life and yield
an effective range of 50 feet. We tested this camera in 6 different real
life applications and it yielded the best of all results to date exceeding
the sharpness of all previous models in this class. Fully
weatherproof. It includes a detachable sun shade and a swivel mount
for wall, ceiling or pedestal applications. The smaller size is more appealing
